We’re looking for help running our Farmer’s Market Booth at Skips Farmers Market in New Buffalo, every Sunday from 9am - 4pm Eastern. Coast and Float launched at Skips Farmers Market last summer and in this role, you’ll play a key part in greeting returning customers and helping introduce new customers to the brand, sample our products and share our story.

This role will require your active, involvement. We greet people as they walk by, welcome everyone with a smile and invite them to learn about Coast and Float and try our products.

As a new company, sharing the story, creating positive customer experiences and helping everyone find their favorite flavor is all an essential part of the job and pillar of the business.

Great market days are necessary for a small business and new brand and your sales skills will be put to the test! We do offer you the chance to earn extra at each market, when sales exceed targets.

Market days can be busy and hectic. You will need to be comfortable with being on your feet all day, handling crowds of curious customers and fluidly covering any role needed to create positive customer experiences at the booth.

Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring booth is set up and ready for customers
- Running the sampling station and helping get samples into the crowds’ hands
- Sharing the Coast and Float story and excitement in discovering us with others
- Answering customer questions and collecting customer feedback
- Handling customer orders and bagging purchases
- Keeping the booth neat, clean and organized
- Presenting in alignment with our brand

At the end of the day, you will also be responsible for booth tear down and packing up. We staff our booth with 2-3 people, so you will never be alone, but you will be expected to actively contribute the entire time.

Location: Skips Restaurant, 16710 Lakeshore Road, New Buffalo
Market sets up in the parking lot

Working Hours: 9am - 4pm Eastern

Pay: $18 / hour + extra based on every can sold above target
+ additional $10 per market for lunch

Availability: Sundays, starting on Sunday, May 25th through August 31st
(Let us know when we meet, the Sundays that do not work, and we’ll take into account for scheduling)
